What are the best landscape photography accessories?
Most of my equipment falls into 2 categories: Excuse killers and essentials so that’s how we’ll split up the best landscape photography accessories
It was a rainy day in the Lake District so I decided to head up to Gummers how and head into woods so that I was slightly more sheltered. It’s not an area that I’ve really explored before so I followed my nose and headed up into the woods, where I stumbled on a fallen tree surrounded by the mist. We started the walk in Eskdale and made our way up past Burnmoor tarn and then up onto Scafell. On the climb, we had views over Wastwater, Wasdale and Pillar. Near the top, the clouds surrounded us which didn’t look promising but fortunately, the clouds cleared and we had some great views.Read More
I put it to the vote on my Instagram page again and you wanted to see views from on top of Coniston Old Man, Dow Crag and the next hill on the horizon. After checking the map I realised it was called White Maiden. I’d never done it before so it looked like a good one to try.Read More

I’ve photographed Hoad at night quite a few times now, I tend to use the 24-70mm and take either the 100mm or 135mm depending on where I’m going to stand. I took them all this time plus a 400mm to do some comparisons. I didn’t use the 400mm on Hoad as it wouldn’t all fit, it worked ok on the moon though.Read More
I wasn’t sure where to go so I posted a couple of questions onto my Instagram story asking what people wanted to see

On top of a mountain or at the beach ?
