Track Through The Autumn Trees. Grizedale Forest
The forecast was for mist and rain in the Lake District so I decided to head into Grizedale Forest to make the most of the Autumn colours. I’d read that there was going to be 50-60mph winds coming later that evening so the clock was ticking as I didn’t want to be surrounded by giant heavy objects once that started.
I found a track leading through the woods where the trees were thick like spiders webs. The clouds were rolling through the trees adding to the atmosphere and because of how dense the trees were the shadows graduated from light to dark the thicker the tree branches got. I waited until the mist and light matched up to get this Autumnal photo
