The Sun Breaking Through Onto The Nab, Martindale. The Lake District
Lake District Print
We’d had an early morning start arriving in the Martindale valley at about 6 am to photograph the red deer rut. After watching the deer we headed back down toward the old Church at Martindale when we looked back and noticed that the sun was rising and streaks of light were hitting the side of the Nab.
The light slowly moved around the valley lighting up the farm buildings and the trees which were along the river whilst half of the valley was still in the shade.
