Red deer in the woods

It was the start of the rutting season so I headed into the woods where I usually see the deer. Between the trees, I spotted this female red deer getting bombarded by the flies. Fortunately, she was distracted so I crawled between the trees using them for cover and waiting until she walked back into the clear view.

There was a male deer on the other side down near the grass which would occasionally walk up to the same spot, unfortunately, I never got a clear view for a photo, I decided to leave them here before I scared them off
