The Old Tree, Spark Bridge
Lake District Greeting Card
I pass this old tree every time I go to Coniston, which is a lot of times over the years and it always grabs my attention. It’s been dead for as long as I remember and it stands out due to the barkless branches and because it’s on its own in the field
We were making our way to Pike O’ Blisco and drove through Spark bridge on a winters morning. The birds were in the old tree and you could see more trees coming through the mist in the background. The sun was rising at the time so the light was the best I’d ever seen it. We stopped here for a few minutes to admire the view and then carried on up into the mountains
In an effort to become as eco-friendly as possible, cards are now available without the cellophane packs.
Cards come protected inside there envelopes, reducing plastic waste.
An extra layer of protection on the cards. Some stockists like to use these as they prevent fingerprints on the cards, ensuring the quality is maintained.
