Herdwick Sheep And Sun Rays From Great Langdale
We climbed up Great Langdale before the snow arrived for the winter to try and make the most of the last of the Autumn light and colours. We walked up from Stickle barn past Stickle Tarn and up to Pavey Ark. On the walk between Pavey Ark and Harrison Stickle, this view looking down on to Blea tarn opened up just as the sun rays burst out behind the clouds.
Annoyingly the leg fell off my tripod just as this happened so I quickly screwed everything back together and got the photo. Fortunately whilst I was messing about, fixing the tripod a Herdwick sheep walked into a good position on the closest verge, in the light spot adding some interest to the foreground
