Howegrain beck leading into the clouds. Martindale

Stood on the bridge that goes over Howegrain beck in the Martindale Valley looking up towards the Nab. We’d spent the morning photographing the deer and the was intermittent rain all morning mixed with sunshine. Once we looked back from next to Martindale Church you could see the two kinds of weather mixing together. The sun had blown out most of the details as it shone through the clouds that had filled the valley.

On the beck is a large tree that your eye is drawn to whilst driving, it was silhouetted because of the suns location adding a bit of contrast to the light areas

Howegrain Beck Leading Towards The Nab. Martindale

Looking down Howegrain beck towards the Martindale valley and the Nab. There was a layer of snow up high which disappeared on the lower fells.

I stopped here because of the tree next to the river which caught my eye but once stopping I soon realised there was a lot more to see
