The larch trees on the walk up to Hoad monument creating shelter from the storm. I liked how the dark tree stumps and shadows stood out against the bright snow. The farmer had just arrived with food for the sheep, you can see them all making there way over for there dinner.
The low visibility helped to make this photo more interesting as usually the view behind the trees leads up to the hills behind. The clouds made the photo a lot simpler and the addition of the sheep helped add some details to the minimalist background

Watching the mist rise over Ulverston town from Birkrigg common. I was hoping for a few more clouds in the sky but on the morning it was just perfect blue. I decided to climb higher up onto Birkrigg so that I could then get a better view into town and to also get a better view of the Lake District which you can see behind Hoad Monument
