My favourite bit(s) : The view from the top looking across towards Scafell Pike
I did this walk with my dad in October 2016, we started at Old Dungeon Ghyll and made our way across to the band, going up past three tarns, it was quite a hazy day when we went up but it felt like this might be a good location for a photo if the weather was right.
We carried on going to the top to get the view looking across to Scafell and Scafell Pike. I think this was my favourite view from the whole walk. From here we decided to go down past Angle tarn, there was a few herdwick sheep here which I usually like to photograph, they seem to have pretty friendly faces. We then went down Rossett Pike which I didn’t really like that much. I’d probably go back down the band if I was to do this again.
