The Priest Hole Cave. The Lake Distict
A panoramic photograph of the Priest Hole Cave. A hidden gem in the Lake District. Taking in the views out over the tops of the Lake District Fells.
I’d heard stories about this cave up on the side of a mountain in the English Lake District that is often used by wild campers as a shelter overnight. I decided to head out and see if I could find it. I kept an eye out for a sunny day and headed roughly to the right area. I managed to spot the hole from the roadside and then I made my way through the farm, old mine workings and scrambled up and into the cave. It was worth the effort to get there
