The Old Mine Tracks. Hodge Close
A landscape photography print of the old tracks leading into the water at Hodge Close. This is the remains of an old slate mine in the English Lake District. The water is 150 feet deep and is a popular place for divers. You can often see them bobbing around in the water before they head down and explore the old tunnels left by the miners.
I liked how the tracks are surrounding by the rock alcoves creating there own natural frame with the water reflecting the screes leftover from the remains of the old mine workings.
