Sunrays Through The Rain In The Langdale Valley. The Lake District

A landscape photograph taken from Side Pike in the English Lake District, watching the rain roll in over Bowfell and the band as the sun broke through the clouds above Crinkle Crags.

It was a typical day in the Lake District where all of the weather happened at once. The climb up was dry, yet ominous as the dark clouds filled the sky above Bowfell, then occasionally the sun would break out adding a mixture of light and dark in the Langdale valley.
