Sledging Is A Spectator Sport. Hoad, Ulverston
A photograph of Hoad Monument on a winters day in Ulverston as the sheep watched people sledging down the side of Hoad hill.
I climbed up onto one of the hills close to the Hoad monument to try and get a view of both the monument and the town. Fortunately, the low cloud and snow had stopped and the view opened up. There was a lot of people out making the most of the snow sledging down the hills.
As I got to the top of this hill I noticed a lad walking over to avoid the rocks and for some fresh snow. He was going up and down this section of the field. A sheep walked up below where I was stood and started watching too.
