Stare down With A Herdwick Sheep On Pike O’ Blisco
A photograph of a Herdwick sheep on the way up Pike O’ Blisco as we had a little stare down over who had the right of way on the path.
We were making our way up to Pike O’ Blisco in the English Lake District to get the views over Great Langdale from the top. As we climbed up I spotted this Herdwick sheep staring me down so I slowly approached to get a better composition. The sheep stayed there for the photo, in the background, you can see Crinkle crags with the clouds rolling over the tops with the grassy verge rolling over behind the sheep.
I don’t think you can find many things more Lake District-y than the Herdwick sheep and the mountains. They always seem to have a smile on there face too
