Cutting Through The Clouds. Sharp Edge, Blencathra

The intimidating Sharp Edge ridge leading up to the top of Blencathra on a cloudy morning in the English Lake District. We climbed up to the ridge early, hoping to get the place to ourselves – which is exactly what happened.

The clouds also joined us for most of the morning too. The dark rocks on sharp edge cut into the grey clouds surrounding the mountains creating a dramatic look.
