Pike O’ Blisco. The Lake District

At a height of 705m Pike O Blisco gets great views looking down into the Langdale valley and across to the tops of the surrounding mountains. You get great views of the jagged Crinkle crag range, Bowfell, the Langdale Pikes and across at Wetherlam. Another bonus is that Pike O Blisco is on the list of Wainrights so you can tick off this hill at the same time.

At the top is a round shelter and a trig point, I think the shelter is quite photogenic and the cairn works well as a buffer against the wind… I got to the top before the snow and hail arrived one afternoon and sat sheltered here for 20 minutes before it cleared.
