Fat Man’s Agony (Side Pike). The Lake District

Fat Man’s Agony is a squeeze through the rocks on the side of Side Pike. I’m not the biggest guy but I get my shoulders stuck going straight forward, a sideways shimmy will be required to get through.

There is a bit of a drop but it’s easy to avoid.

Best time of the year to visit: All year round

Parking: National Trust carpark at Blea Tarn

Places close by: Blea Tarn, Side Pike, Lingmoor Fell
